ALL UFC Pay-Per-Views Will Now Be Exclusive To ESPN+
Earlier today, I was clued in to some “big announcement” hitting the web this evening, and “big” it is…
Each and every UFC pay-per-view from here on out will be available exclusively though ESPN+, now at a discounted price of $59.99, but now along with a $4.99 subscription fee to their streaming service. Originally, I believed pay-per-views would just be included with our ESPN+ subscriptions, ala the WWE Network or DAZN, which would’ve been phenomenal, but it seems we’re taking baby steps here.
Fans are already reacting every which way about this – mostly negative, from what I’ve seen – but as an MMA fan already subscribed to ESPN+ for their UFC content, my life isn’t affected in the slightest – just made a bit easier, I suppose. Oh, and also, I don’t think the UFC would make this deal, and I don’t think Dana White would be AS thrilled as he currently is about it (and trust me, he’s thrilled) if it wasn’t great for the sport. Give it time, my friends. Let it breathe.
I’ll be the first to cuncel ESPN if it changes things for the worse – TRUST ME – but I ain’t doin’ it just yet.
You know what an even better deal is, though? Rough N Rowdy pay-per-views being included in all Barstool Gold Hardcore subscriptions from here on out, with NO extra cost…
