BREAKING: James Gunn Is BACK ON To Direct 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3'

After a long and winding saga of James Gunn getting cancelled over some raunchy jokes he made years ago, it turning out that those tweets were dug up by alt-right journalists with a nasty agenda, Gunn making a very sincere, genuine public apology where he blamed only himself, the Guardians themselves threatening to not return to the franchise unless James was reinstated…

…and James getting hired to write/direct DC’s ‘Suicide Squad 2′ – which was a completely bizarre twist to it all – it’s over.

James Gunn is BACK as the writer/director of Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3′, which is music to the ears of comic book fans everywhere. James Gunn took characters most people had never heard of and made them household names a few years back, and followed up his smash hit with a sequel he knocked out of the park, before serving as a consultant/executive producer on all things ‘Guardians’ in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and has solidified one thing in that time: he IS Guardians of the Galaxy. Nobody understands these characters quite as well as he does, and nobody could write for them like he has. This is the best news anybody could’ve asked for.
