Kevin Durant Said He Made Burner Accounts To Avoid Sites Like Barstool Twisting Up His Words

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m convinced! The only reason Kevin Durant set up those burners so he could talk to his friends and family like a normal person and not have to worry about us hyenas on the World Wide Web breaking down every word he typed with a microscope. Is it too much to ask for a little bit of privacy online anymore? Almost everybody I know not only uses social media but is addicted to it in one capacity or another. Why shouldn’t a person who is really, really, ridiculously good at basketball be allowed to be a normal person online and not have to worry about people criticizing him in his mentions for every post he makes? It’s flat out disgusting if we are being honest. If people want to hear what Kevin Durant’s thoughts are, they should watch his show The Boardroom on E***+. I have already nominated it for an Internet Clemmy award for Best Sports Show, Best Lead Athlete In A Sports Show, and Best Show Ever with Rich Kleinman winning the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award for his tremendous work in all aspects of life.

That being said Kevin, I would appreciate if it if you didn’t lump Barstool in with Bleacher Report. We don’t do 45 page slideshows about the craziest Kevin Durant Instagram posts that gives everyone that finishes the article carpal tunnel syndrome. That’s just not our style. And while the fellas at Pardon My Take may call you a Triple B (I’d like to point out that they don’t say the B-word anymore), Pardon My Take is only PRESENTED by Barstool Sports and should not be seen as all of Barstool Sports, no matter how great or successful they are. I also know some of the more hateful bloggers here like Greenie write mean things about you while covering the Celtics, who happen to be his favorite team. But as the Knicks writer, I do not engage in any such slander about a man that is just as good a person in my eyes as he is a basketball player, which is to say one of the best if not THE best in the entire world. So keep doing you Kevin and just know that the haters do not speak for the vast majority of us here in New York or at Barstool.
