R. Kelly Couldn't Scrape Together $100,000 To Post Bail And Had To Have A Friend Give Him The Money LOL
Complex- R. Kelly’s $100,000 bail was paid over the weekend by a woman identified in court documents as a “friend” of the disgraced singer. Per an update on the Kelly case in Illinois via the Chicago Tribune, Kelly’s fee—10 percent of his $1 million bond on sexual abuse charges—was paid by a 47-year-old woman from Romeoville. She is reportedly identified on the accompanying bond slip as “a friend” of Kelly’s. Kelly ultimately pleaded not guilty to the 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The Surviving R. Kelly subject is accused in this case of sexually abusing four people, three of whom who were allegedly underage, dating back to 1998.
Following his release Monday from Cook County authorities’ custody, Kelly was spotted at a McDonald’s in Chicago where he’s said to have signed autographs. As noted by The Blast Tuesday, this particular McDonald’s is the same one at the center of a 2002 lawsuit in which Kelly was alleged to have met a girl on her prom night circa 1998 at the fast food restaurant. Kelly, per the suit, later allegedly forced the girl to get an abortion. The case was ultimately settled out of court.

The dude has sold over 75 million records worldwide, is one of the most successful music artists of all time and he can’t even scrape together 100 grand to get himself outta jail. LOL. Laugh out loud funny. That makes me really happy. Nobody thought R. Kelly still had a lot of money but it’s nice to at least have a ballpark figure of where he’s at financially. R. Kelly has less (and probably much less) than $100,000 to his name despite being R. fucking Kelly. That’s great news. Fuck him.
Who is this unidentified 47-year-old female friend who gave him the bail money by the way? I wish she hadn’t done that. The whole world wishes she hadn’t done that. Nothing would’ve made all of us happier than if R. Kelly had to just sit and rot in jail cell because he’s a broke boi who squandered his fortune. Let him sit in there and think about his horrible and disgusting crimes. His day of reckoning is coming, though. If he doesn’t have $100,000 then he sure as shit doesn’t have money to pay the type of lawyers that’ll get him off the hook for 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Not sure those type of lawyers even exist.
