Two ECHL Players Couldn't Wait For The Game To Start So They Decided To Just Beat The Shit Out Of Each Other Off The Ice After Warmups

Every time I think hockey can’t get better, it does. This time it was two ECHL players, Mike Folkes of the Brampton Beast and James Melindy of the Newfoundland Growlers just chuckin absolute knucks before their game on Sunday in Brampton.

Why wait for the game to start when you can just beat the shit out of each other as your walking off the ice for warm ups?

A few questions/thoughts here from me….

-What could have been said in warm ups to start this? it must’ve been a hell of a chirp to get this going.

-Is Mike Folkes the biggest hockey guy of all time? Dude is 30-years-old still ripping up the ECHL fighting dudes both on and off the ice not taking shit from anyone.

-Why isn’t anyone breaking this up? No refs? No police officers? Even the teammates are just letting em chuck. Got to imagine half the guys on the ice were thinking “what the fuck did I get myself into” while watching this unfold.

-I’d bet anything at least 3-4 guys that played in this game updated their LinkedIn immediately after the game. That might be enough ECHL for them.

What a beautiful game. Wouldn’t be shocked if these two grabbed beers together after the game. The ECHL is a god damn jungle.
