Bradley Cooper Tells Oprah Winfrey He's Embarrassed After Not Being Nominated For The 'Best Director' Oscar

Bradley Cooper spoke to Oprah recently to discuss the ‘A Star Is Born’ buzz and they discussed him not being nominated for the best director Oscar. Bradley had said that he wasn’t surprised but that felt embarrassed that he didn’t do his part in which Oprah reassured him that he did, just like the rest of us know he did.

Honestly, fuck the Academy for making Bradley Cooper feel like he didn’t do his part. Everybody knows ‘A Star Is Born’ was a fantastic movie and that Bradley deserved that nomination. Of course he did his part. I mean the movie got nominated for best movie, somebody had to direct that movie and make it happen. How does he not get nominated for best director when the movie itself was nominated for best movie? I can understand his frustration and would probably feel the same way he does but everybody in the world knows Bradley did a fantastic job with ‘A Star Is Born’ and if you say he didn’t you’re a hater and a liar.
