Lil Brother Congratulates Patriots Backup QB For Winning Super Bowl (Again)

Social media was fun yesterday. From the Super Bowl to 21 Savage’s visa issues, it was a great day to be on Twitter/Instagram.

I saw a lot of tweets that made me chuckle, but my favorite was this one from Michigan State:

As a Michigan alum won his 6th Super Bowl, Michigan State went to Twitter to congratulate Hoyer for winning, again!

When it popped up on my timeline, I just sat there in shock. What a tweet. If it was a troll, it’s brilliant. A great way to increase your interactions. If they are seriously congratulating the only active player on the Patriots to not get a snap in the Super Bowl, it’s as if they are just begging to be called the little brother. Have to be smarter than that.

P.s. What a career for Brian Hoyer. Just completed his 10th year as a journey backup QB. Career earnings to this point: 21 million dollars. Keep cashing those checks, Sparty.
