Did You Park Your Car At Newark Airport? Because It Might Be On Fire

Just a little heads up here. If you parked your car at Newark Airport there’s a chance it’s on fire because 15 cars just burst into flames in the parking lot. It’s a whole thing. There are firefighters out there on the scene battling the flames and it looks bad but I read a report that makes it sound like they’ve mostly got it under control which is good. No injuries reported so far so let’s hope that stays the same.

On the one hand, it’s bad that 15 cars exploded into a ball of fire at Newark Airport. That’s objectively a bad thing. On the other hand, it’s 4 degrees outside (-11 wind chill) so standing next to a giant car bonfire isn’t the worse thing in the world. Although it was reported that the firefighters had a little trouble because the water kept freezing as soon as it hit the frigid winter air so that’s not great. Remember warm weather?
