A Bit Nippy: This Polar Vortex Graphic Looks Like A Pair Of Boobies
Daily Mail- It was meant to highlight a polar vortex sweeping the Midwest and East Coast this week, forcing 220million Americans to contend with temperatures as low as -50F. But unfortunately, this weather forecast ended up emphasizing something else altogether. The WLKY News Louisville graphic bears an uncanny resemblance to a pair of perky pink breasts – featuring two perfectly placed nipples. Temperatures could hit -50F in North and South Dakota and parts of Minnesota, making it too cold for people to go outside safely. A state of emergency has been declared in Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois as well as in Alabama and Mississippi.
I’m woke to this and I’ll tell you why. The entire weather world is talking about the historic Polar Vortex that is causing most of the Midwest to turn into one big popsicle. For all intents and purposes, the Polar Vortex is the Super Bowl for local weather reports and everybody is trying to make their reports stand out. So what better way to make your Polar Vortex report stand out amongst the sea of Polar Vortex reports than to make it look like a big ol pair of titties. I’ve seen the data. Nothing gets more clicks and more eyeballs than asses and titties. There’s a reason why porn is so popular and it’s because asses and titties are hugely popular in the internet community. You’d be hard pressed to find anything more popular. That local weather team used T & A in their Polar Vortex and got the people buzzing and talking.
You don’t see Barstool Sports blogging about any other local weather report, do you? No you do not. There’s talk about the Polar Vortex itself because the Barstool Chicago fellas are currently living through it but there hasn’t been any talk of the Polar Vortex reports because weather reports are the most boring things in the world. Well not anymore. The good folks at WLKY in Kentucky figured out a way to get the attention of national media outlets. The lesson, as always, is that T & A always plays. Always always always. That’s a little blogger school for you wannabe bloggers out there.
