How Hard Of A Shot Does John Tavares Have? Lets Ask The Broken Glass At The Leafs Practice Facility

I think every hockey player at one point or another dreams of just unleashing a shot and breaking the glass. Well, today John Tavares got to live that dream at the Toronto Maple Leafs practice facility. Tavares came down on Freddy Anderson, put one over the net and completely destroyed the glass.

Would be a real shame if he never left the Islanders and did that at the Barclays Center. Would they have the spare glass handy to fix it? I picture the Barclays just throwing up a big piece of ply wood.

Tavares is lighting it up in his first season in Toronto though, with 50 points (29g, 21a) in 45 games this season. The guys already has 3o goals and we are half way through January….have a year buddy.
