Klay Thompson Stopped His Postgame Interview So He Could Talk Shit To Zaza Pachulia

So an interesting storyline from last night’s beatdown in DEN is the fact that Klay Thompson, a known Splash Brother, who built his reputation in this league by having one of the prettiest jumpshots in league history, switched things up and dunked 4 times in one game. They said on the broadcast it was his most dunks he’s ever had in a single game and I believe that. When I think of Klay, I think threes not dunks. And while his teammates were giving him flack for it

they weren’t all that wrong. I mean look how awkward he is here on his final one

Anyway, in his postgame interview he was asked about his little dunk counter contest between he and Zaza Pachulia. When informed that he now had an 11-1 lead, he immediately stopped the interview to talk that shit

Did most people not even know Pachulia was still in the league? Perhaps, I mean who keeps up to date with the whereabouts of a dirty ass Zaza Pachulia. Given that he’s a big man that has played in 32 games for the Pistons getting 13 minutes a night, that’s a pretty embarrassing dunk tally difference. It wouldn’t shock me if the next time these two teams play we see a patented questionable Zaza closeout on a Klay jumper. That’s sort of his thing.

Anyway, while watching this video all I could think about was the fact that even if you hate the Warriors, it’s impossible to hate Klay. You can hate Curry for being cocky, you can hate Draymond for being a little bitch and a dirty player, you can hate Durant for ruining the NBA, but you can’t hate Klay. That might be the most impressive thing about this entire dynasty. Not only is he one of the best shooters in NBA history, but he’s actually likable. You all remember his greatest hits

Or China Klay

and last night was just another example of why Klay is the greatest. Most guys would say something like “man 11-1 realy? I gotta let him know about that next time I see him”. Not Klay though, he’s going to stop everything right then and there and get on the phone and talk shit. God do I hate that I love this move because things are so much easier when you can just hate everything about the Warriors.

Maybe I’ll have a different view of Klay when he signs a team friendly extension instead of leaving for big money and the Warriors just keep on rolling for the foreseeable future. At this point, that’s all I can think of.
