We've Got a Massive Baseball Brawl in Venezuela Featuring Current and Former MLB Players

Now THAT is a brawl folks. None of that “hold me back” soft shit we see most of the time these days. Nope, two teams that wanted each other dead. Included in this were current players St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez, Chicago White Sox shortstop Jose Rondon, Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra and Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Gregorio Petit. It all started when a player had two pitches thrown behind him, leading to him charging the mound. It seemed like things had calmed down when right fielder Felix Perez decided to restart the brawl. After sprinting back into the brawl Perez almost immediately found himself knocked down on the ground after getting decked in the face.

Not exactly to plan huh?

The best part about brawls in the Dominican or South America is the fans getting involved. It happens almost every time, because there are essentially no rules down there. If someone does what this guy did in the U.S. they’re immediately arrested and banned from every stadium in Major League Baseball.

Right after that, this bad boy spills into the dugout which gives you flashbacks of one of the best MLB brawls to ever happen between the Yankees and Orioles.

I love a good brawl, and we got on in December. An early Christmas gift! Enjoy!
