Someone Reported A House Fire, The Fire Department Showed Up And It Was Just A TV Showing A Fireplace

With great power comes great responsibility. That’s the lesson to be learned here. Exactly one week ago I blogged about how more people should be using YouTube fire places and look what happens. It, pun intended, caught on like wildfire and now so many folks are doing it now that people think homes in their neighborhood are catching on fire. Unintended consequences were bound to happen I suppose. I was shocked that more people didn’t know about the YouTube fireplaces but I’m more than happy to spread the gospel. Everyone who isn’t rich enough to have a fireplace in their home should be utilizing YouTube fireplaces. It takes a tiny apartment and makes it feel like a vast mansion.

A word of advice to the people who are getting in on the YouTube fireplace craze though, close the blinds. Before you head to YouTube and type in “fireplace” close’em up. It’ll make your house or apartment feel more like a log cabin in the woods AND you eliminate the risk of your neighbors dialing 911 because they think your house is ablaze. The last thing you want when you’re sipping on hot cocoa and enjoying your YouTube fireplace is to have a fireman’s axe come crashing through your door. One second you’re all cozied up on the couch and the next second firemen are rushing through the door to put out a non-existent fire. That’ll ruin your Christmas cheer in a hurry.

Follow those guidelines and enjoy!
