Atlanta Won The MLS Cup And The Team Celebrated Appropriately By Taking The Trophy To A Strip Club

This is how you bring attention to a sport that’s dying for attention. This is how you make Major League Soccer a more known and more popular sports league in this country. No true red-blooded American can hate this move. The only thing more American than apple pie is asses clapping and titties bouncing. Other guys from other well-known professional sports talk about how they’re gonna go to Disney World but not in the MLS. They take that trophy straight to Magic City and make it rain all over the place.

I’m on board with any sports championship celebration that matches the city that won. Like, remember when Paul Wall offered to make grills for the Houston Astros after they won the the World Series? That’s the type of shit I love. Every team that wins a championship should pay homage to that city in a similar way. The theme seems to be that it’s also hiphop related. So Atlanta taking the MLS Cup to a strip club was perfect. Magic City is an institution in Atlanta and hip hop.

At the very least, the MLS should make this their thing. Any MLS team that wins the cups should have a hip hop-themed celebration in their city. Toronto FC wins the Cup next year? A couple of their players should sit court side with Drake at a Raptors game and only do things that’ll get turned into a gif. It’d be one of the coolest running things in sports every year.
