Katy Perry Auctions Off A Date With Orlando Bloom And Then Swiftly Takes It Away

Katy Perry attended and performed at the One Love Benefit Show on Sunday night to help the victims of the wildfires in Malibu. While on stage she auctioned off a date with Orlando Bloom. Not just any date, but a motorcycle ride with Orlando followed by lunch. She really hyped it up, talking about his body and getting to hold him. She literally said, “You’re holding him in a way that I am not excited about, you’re holding his pecs and his six-pack — and it’s so glorious! You get to hold on to Orlando for about 45 minutes… and then, you get to stare into his brown eyes!” They actually had a woman, Laura, throw out $20,000 for the date. TWENTY THOUSAND. You know Laura wanted that date. Katy was hyping his pecs! And abs! BUT right at the end when bidding came to a close, Katy basically said, “Ha ha jk no one gets the date I’m bidding $50,000 and taking Orlando.” *mic drop*

What was the whole point of the auction?!?!? Just to get some poor fans hopes up that she will get to ride on a motorcycle with Orlando Bloom?? And then rip it away??? Katy could have just donated the 50k and spared this woman’s feelings. Just dangling Orlando Bloom in front of the crowd…only to take it all back. A whole new level of you can look at my man, but you can’t touch. I’m sure Katy doesn’t want some woman holding on to Orlando on the back of a motocycle, that’s fair. It’s her boyfriend.

It’s great that Katy made the donation, but maybe next time just write the check and don’t try and fake sell your boyfriend.
