It's About Time Darius Rucker Wised Up And Gave The People What They Want By Reuniting With Hootie & The Blowfish

Oh, hell yeah. I’m not even lying when I say this early Monday morning news got me jazzed up for the week. Hootie and the Blowfish is one of the best bands of the 90s, which is arguably the greatest era for music. So you do the math and Hootie and the Blowfish immediately become one of the best bands of all time – in my opinion of course.

But, this is awesome and scary all wrapped into one. I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since Cracked Rear View came out. What a fire album that is. You can make an argument that the three song stretch of Hold My Hand, Let Her Cry and Only Wanna Be With You is the best 3-song stretch on an album.

Credit to Darius Rucker who finally wised up and despite being uber successful as a single artist realized he’s Hootie. I know, I know. They say that he’s not Hootie and the other band members are not the Blowfish, but let’s not kid ourselves. He’s Hootie.
