The Buffalo Sabres Have Won 10 Straight Games And Have The League's Best Record
The Buffalo Sabres won their 10th straight game tonight and currently have the NHL’s best record. I’m not going to sit hear and brag about my Sabres bet at the beginning of the year or how I have been pumping their tires since the offseason. That is a story for another day and will take away from how great what this team is doing actually is. The overtime win over the Sharks tonight ties the franchise record for most consecutive wins and the team currently sits atop the NHL.
Is there a more fun team to watch in the NHL right now? They are fast, skilled, and are having a ton of fun. Jeff Skinner is an absolute monster, scoring the game winner in OT tonight with 1:41 remaining, his 19th of the season….19 bingos through 25 games and 18 in his last 18. Not a big deal at all.
Got to mention Jack Eichel as well. 11 points in his last 10 games and being the top-line, two-way center that this team needs. When you have a player up the middle like Jack it changes everything.
Can we talk about Rasmus Ristolainen? Jesus. The guy is just buzzing around out there scoring highlight reel goals left and right including this one tonight.
The Sabres are the best story in the NHL. They had the worst record in the NHL last season and a quarter of the way through this season they have won 10 straight and hold the league’s best record. What a league. What a god damn league.
