It’s Once Again Breeders Cup Weekend

So it’s Breeders Cup Weekend again. These are my 2 favorite days of horse gambling each year. It’s better than the Triple Crown. It’s better than Travers Day. It’s the best of the best all coming together in one location for 2 days of unparralled racing and betting opportunities. And per usual I’m teaming up with my buddy Elio for the Breeders Cup Betting Challenge. This is a 10K contest. 2500 of the entry fee goes to the pot. The rest is what you bet with and is real money. You compete with everybody else who enters and whoever has the most money at the end wins. First place is generally at least 300K in addition to all the money you won during the contest. Elio and I each have our own entry in this contest and will split everything down the middle. So we are a 50/50 team but making our own picks. Anything we bet beyond the contest we also split 50/50.  This arrangement that we’ve been doing for over a decade now generally leads to a ton of arguments, fighting, and the near ending of of our friendship by the end of the weekend, but there is nowhere else I’d rather be for the next 48 hours. I’ll be tweeting our picks live for people to follow and bet along.
