Tony Lauren Trolls Comedian Kathy Griffin With SpOoOoOky Callback Post

First things first, let’s take the time to look beyond the joke, the message & weirdness of it all to address the most important topic when one is writing about a woman – her looks. It’s really hard to pull off red hair if you’re not a redhead & she absolutely nails it. She legit looks fabulous. If I wore that wig I’d look like the Wendy’s logo. Well done, Tangy.

Now to the rest. I have to admit at first my mind was blanking out & I did not get what this had to do with Family Guy. I think Louis Griffin popped in my head because of the last name so my brain simply ignored that whole ‘Kathy’ part somehow.

Then it occurred to me Tami was referencing comedian Kathy Griffin’s controversial photo shoot last year where he held up a bloody, severed Trump head.

Griffin ended up apologizing for the whole thing:

I sincerely apologize. I am just now seeing the reaction of [sic] these images. I’m a comic. I cross the line. I move the line, then I cross it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my career. I will continue. I asked your forgiveness, and I’m gonna ask the photographer to take down the image, and I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far; I made a mistake; and I was wrong.

Which she then took back on The View:

“I take the apology back. F— him,” Griffin declared at the star of the show. “I’m not holding back on this family. This family is different. I’ve been through the mill.” She also referred to Trump’s Don Jr. and Eric as “Eddie Munster and Date Rape.”
