I Am Captivated By Russell Westbrook's Latest Photoshoot

Here I was, spending my morning doing my due diligence and looking into the Thunder in preparation for tonight’s BOS/OKC matchup, and during that deep dive I somehow ended up on the latest and greatest from a recent Russell Westbrook photoshoot. Now we know that Westbrook is no stranger to weird fashion, it’s sort of his thing, but looking at these photos I honestly couldn’t help but laugh

I’m not sure why I found this so funny but I did. Maybe because it reminded me of this cat meme

I mean that had to be the inspiration here. To be honest the clothes aren’t all that shocking, which is probably the biggest surprise coming from a guy who rocks some pretty wild looks on the regular. I won’t hate on him for that, I say if you can pull it off then you can wear whatever the hell you want and Westbook can. I wasn’t the only one who was taken back by these photos, his running mate Paul George had a similar reaction

I also have no idea what that magazine is that this shoot was for, but safe to say they nailed it if they have people like me talking about it. Say what you want about him, but Russell Westbrook moves the needle.

Now what’s important in regards to Westbrook is he’s back and looked pretty damn good in his debut on Sunday with 32/12/8 on 13-23 shooting.

For his career against the Celts he’s averaged 25.4/5.4/6.4 on 42/41% splits, and usually has a couple dagger threes whenever these two teams match up. So for any Celtics fan out there, I say get your laughs in at his expense now, because once that game tips off at 8pm tonight, I don’t think we’ll have too much to laugh about. For a team that’s still winless this season and is technically a 1 point underdog, you just know Westbrook is going to come out like a maniac and throw up like 35/12/13.
