Ted Nugent Is Fucking Furious That He Hasn't Been Inducted Into The Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame Yet And David Crosby Dunked On Him From The Clouds For It

UltimateClassicRock- Last year the veteran rocker, who’s been eligible since 2000, said “political correctness” and particularly his membership in the NRA was behind the snub, and in 2011 called his exclusion an “embarrassing denial of historical and current truth and evidence.”

“It’s sacrilege,” Nugent told MyGlobalMind in a recent interview. “It’s ultimately disrespectful and cruel to Chuck [Berry], Bo [Diddley] and Little Richard and all the founding fathers in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Because the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame means something, and I don’t have to explain to you, because you know, and you don’t have to explain it to me.

“Abandon egos, bragging and Ted Nugent speaking on behalf of Ted Nugent – is it or is it not vulgar, dishonest, and obscene that Grandmaster Flash, Patti Smith and ABBA are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but Ted fucking Nugent isn’t? Is that the most outrageous and disgusting lie you have ever seen?”

He blasted the establishment’s directors as an “ultra-leftist, liberal CEO-driven gang who couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the music,” adding that he retained all the respect he had for artists such as Journey, Kiss and ZZ Top, who he said “deserve to be in there.”

He added, “[W]ould like you to find a human being … and believe them when they say Ted Nugent should not be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? I would love to witness that exchange. You would see a person almost melt with guilt because you know they are lying. At the end of the day, it’s not about me – it’s about the music. James Hetfield said it best when Metallica was inducted: ‘Ted Nugent not being in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a joke. Ted Nugent is rock and roll’.”

So let me start by saying this: musically, Ted Nugent undoubtably deserves to be in the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame. We all know that. Anyone with a brain does, at least. It’s what we call: unquestionable.

Now that we got that out of the way, Ted Nugent is one of the most hilarious, least self-aware, egotistical asshole maniacs walking these here streets in the year of our lord 2018.

I mean, these quotes are simply unbelievable. I legitimately cannot fathom a human being talking so highly of themselves. His brain came up with those words, strung them together into sentences, and they made their way all the way down and out of Ted’s mouth before he realized how ridiculous they’d make him sound. This is so crazy because, at the end of the day, it’s the fucking Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame we’re talking about here.

The same Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame that has yet to induct Motorhead, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, King Crimson, Ozzy Osbourne, Radiohead, Judas Priest, Alice In Chains, Def Leppard, Rage Against The Machine, The Smiths, Jane’s Addiction, Jethro Tull, The Pixies, Pantera, The Zombies, Nine Inch Nails, Joy Division, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Runaways, Soundgarden, and oodles of others.

It’s a god damn joke among the entire music industry. It’s been looked down on universally, by literally everyone that has ever had any clue about it…for DECADES now.

A Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame Induction is still strangely an honor for some, though, especially one of these icons who fans feel have had it coming forever, and I believe the reason for that is that the idea, or concept, of the “Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame” is romanticized, but the insider-politics that occur and way the selection process is treated have turned people against the establishment that runs it, if that makes sense. It’s a bit hard to explain without getting too inside-baseball with it and boring the piss out of you all, but picture the Rock N’ Roll HoF selection panel as the same dudes who run Augusta National. That’s the closest comparison I can make.

So Ted Nugent goes off on ‘em, citing that his exclusion from the Hall of Fame is vulgar, dishonest, obscene, an “ultra-leftist, liberal CEO-driven gang who couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the music” (even though they gave The Ramones, massive Republicans and George W. Bush supporters, a huge platform in 2002), the most outrageous and disgusting lie he has ever heard, and he goes on to say that if someone said that he didn’t belong in the HoF aloud, their face would “melt with guilt” because they’d know themselves that it was a lie. BUT – Teddy’s sure to note that he still respects ZZ Top, KISS, and Journey who “deserve to be in there”. And David fucking Crosby was having none of it.

FROM THE TOP ROPE!!!!!

Just a truly unbelievably funny tweet. Calling another person, let alone a legend like Ted Nugent, a “hack”, will never not make me spit my coffee out when I’m not even drinking any. Because I know Crosby’s gonna hear that he called Nugent a hack for the rest of his life. I called Daniel Day Lewis a hack in one of the most sarcastic sentences I’ve ever written on this website, after MONTHS worth of praising his work as one of the greatest actors of all time, and crediting him for making every movie he’s in worth watching, and defending ‘LINCOLN’ against the hordes of haters at my doorstep…and all anybody talks about is the time I called Daniel Day Lewis a hack. And I didn’t even mean it. David Crosby’s dead serious when he called Ted Nugent a hack, though. Says he couldn’t write a song if his life depended on it. Dem fightin’ words, son. I think we’ve got our newest beef!!!

And I’ll say this – if Ted Nugent responds to this with a scathing diss track followed by a Crosby “Killshot”, and 2018 will have hit for the cycle. I don’t even fully know what that means, but you get what I’m trying to say.

What a world.
