Iowa Bar That Trolled Nebraska With A Locked Fridge Of Beer To Be Opened Upon Their First Win Cuts The Chains

Just wanted to quickly check back in on this story. You love to see it. Scott Frost and the Huskers FINALLY broke through and got a win on their seventh try. They tried real hard and it happened for them Free beer in the bar! I blogged this story before and it started to look like the beer in that fridge was never going to get drank but god almighty Nebraska pulled it off against the Gophers which meant free beer! I never root for Nebraska to win but this is an exception. A bunch of Iowans drinking free beer trumps my hatred for Nebraska. It was a win-win for every Hawkeye fan in that bar every time Saturday rolled around. Either the decision to hire Scott Frost looks even worse and they get to make fun of the Husker fans OR they get free beer and Nebraska is still just 1-6. Nebraska is so bad at football that I was worried the beer was gonna go bad before they clinched their first victory. Luckily for Frost and all the thirsty people in that bar that didn’t happen. Congrats on the W but mostly congrats to the people who go to drink the free beer.
