Dennis Hof, Star Of "Cathouse" And Owner Of The Bunny Ranch, Won A Nevada Assembly Election Despite The Inconvenient Fact That He Died Last Month

AP- A Nevada brothel owner and reality TV star who died last month after fashioning himself as a Donald Trump-style Republican candidate has won a heavily GOP state legislative district. Dennis Hof defeated Democratic educator Lesia Romanov on Tuesday in the race for Nevada’s 36th Assembly District, which includes rural communities and large stretches of desert in the southern part of the state. County officials will appoint a Republican to take his place in the seat. Hof was found dead Oct. 16 after a weekend of parties celebrating his 72nd birthday.

As the dust settles and the political world argues/picks apart every ballot from yesterday, Nevada went full Nevada and hammered home that sex sells by voting in a dead pimp. Only in America!

Now I’m not going to talk politics in this blog because fuck politics and politicians as a whole. But if you are Lesia Romanov, you have to retire after this, right? After shaking all those hands and kissing all those babies, you just lost to a guy that the public has known was dead for weeks. Just an absolutely brutal look. I guess running a smear campaign against a dead guy by just saying “Uhhhh, he’s fucking dead you idiots” would be in poor taste and may end up costing you more votes than it gets you. But the fine people in this district that likely resemble Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s Vacation and Trevor Philips from Grand Theft Auto V knew who they wanted to lead them and that man is was a very dead Dennis Hof instead of an alive Lesia Romanov. The bottom line is that love once again conquered all, even if that love was paid for, ended the minute the paying customer gets their rocks, and took place in a room that would glow wall-to-wall if a black light was turned on.

Finally, I will admit that as a political novice, I’m not quite sure how you decide who replaces a winning candidate died a month earlier. But I believe that Airforce Amy should be allowed to take Hof’s seat because it would reward a great employee that Hof knew inside and out while also respecting the troops.

Do the right thing Nevada and make it happen.
