Khabib Nurmagomedov's Father Says He Forgives Conor McGregor For All Of The Insults, Invites Him To Dagestan

In a Facebook post on his official page regarding the World Sambo Championships in Dagestan on December 15th, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov – father of UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov – has formally invited his son’s biggest rival, Conor McGregor, to be in attendance.

I once again invite our close friend Oleg Nikolaevich Taktarov and Conor McGregor as an honored guest for the tournament. I said that I forgive him all the insults. We should be merciful.

Let me learn you something big, here, folks – Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has not forgiven Conor McGregor for all the insults. You do not forgive someone that reveals what Conor McGregor revealed about Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, and you do not forgive someone that calls you a “quivering coward” publicly.

This is a trap to lure the Notorious to Dagestan so they can have him off’d before the two could complete the trilogy. No doubt about it. It’s probably a last-minute panic button solution to try ensuring Khabib never has to step foot in the octagon with McGregor ever again, if we’re being honest! Don’t think Khabib or Abdulmanap ever accounted for the scenario in which Khabib won that fight at UFC 229 and Conor would come aknockin’ for that rematch, did they?!

Well I’ll tell you what, Abdulmanap. On behalf of #TeamMcGregor, I’m going to have to take a rain check on that little Sambo Tournament you’d like us to come to, and if your son would like to see Conor again, it’ll have to be inside the UFC octagon instead. Sorry about that. But hey – for the inconvenience, we’re going to send you a gift. Our half of this olive branch, if you will. Make sure you check your mailbox this week for a giant wooden horse. 30 feet high, it’s gorgeous. Hope you like it.
