RIP Dennis Hof

TMZ- Dennis Hof — the owner of the famous Bunny Ranch where Lamar Odom overdosed — has passed away at the age of 72. Law enforcement sources tell us they got a 911 call from Hof’s Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada around 11 AM. We’re told the call was for an unresponsive male. Detectives are currently on scene … no foul play is suspected. Hof shot to superstardom as the star of the HBO series ‘Cathouse’ — which followed him as he ran his famous brothels in Nevada. Hof bragged about being a pimp — and came up with his own catchphrase, “There’s no business like ho business.” The most infamous incident under Hof’s watch went down in October 2015 when Lamar Odom overdosed after a bender at Hof’s Love Ranch South. Blood tests later revealed Lamar had cocaine in his system. Odom was placed in a coma for 3 days after the incident.

Well damn. Hugh Hefner and now Dennis Hoff? Brutal. Dan Bilzerian better watch his step. Anyway. RIP to an absolute legend. Dennis Hof wasn’t just a random guy who ran a legal brothel in Nevada. To many people (myself included), Dennis Hof and his Bunny Ranch business was their first peek into the world of porn. I can vividly recall my family getting HBO when I was a young man and stumbling upon the Cathouse show one night. I’d never seen anything like it before because this was long before the days of endless streaming internet porn. This was even before I was illegally downloading porn on programs like Napster and Limewire. Dennis Hof’s Bunny Ranch opened new doors for me and my erect penis. It was on that day that that stumbled upon Cathouse that I realized I loved boobs. The rest is history. I’m sure I would’ve figured it out eventually but HBO and the Bunny Ranch and Dennis Hof accelerated that process and for that I am forever grateful.
