The Boston Dynamics Killer Robot Dog Moonwalking To "Uptown Funk" Is The Weirdest Video Of 2018

Look, I get why Boston Dynamics uploads videos of their products doing new tricks. They want to show off how a robot will be able to open doors, avoid obstacles, and run at full speed before efficiently destroying its human prey. I have nothing but respect for company displaying the firepower of their fully operational battle station.

But Boston Dynamics can get the fuck out of my face letting mankind’s grim reaper stunt on us with dance moves better than anything I can churn out on a wedding dance floor even after a few cocktails seems like its piling on. I already thought creating a killer robot in the form of man’s best friend as a sidekick to that big fuck Atlas was enough of a mindfuck. But to then have that robodog break off some A+ dance moves while presenting its ass in my face like it was in heat was a bridge too far. And make no mistake about it, this little bundle of gadgets and horror is presenting its USB port directly into your eyeball.

While I’m here, I’d also like to point out for the record that this was some shitty cover of Uptown Funk and not the real thing because I like to tell myself that Bruno Mars would never allow the company that is plotting humanity’s doom to use his voice. Once you do two (2) Super Bowl shows by the age of 30 and win the Music Triple Crown, there is really no reason to sell out to our enemy in The Great War of the 21st Century.

Now if we could just figure out why the fuck they made this video to show off this little bit of functionality.
