Geno Smith From The Clouds!!!

As Giants fans continue to lick their wounds from last night/the last few seasons of misery, Geno Smith hit all of them in the face with a tweet that had the power of an IK Enemkpali right hook. Eagles fans, Jets fans, Patriots fans, and any other fanbase that has had an axe to grind with the Giants over the years are unleashing their grudges and turning Eli into (SPOILER) during The Red Wedding and now we have Geno fucking Smith chirping us.

I have no problem with what Geno said though. He quietly held his grudge along with his Chargers clipboard after watching his old coach get crucified for choosing him over Eli and waited for Eli’s darkest moment to fire back. But most fans with a brain were more upset at how the benching was handled in a lost season and that it was very much known quantity GENO FUCKING SMITH starting for Eli instead of unknown quantity Davis Webb. The way everything broke, I’m pretty sure the handling of Eli’s benching and the subsequent fan outrage is what caused the Maras to go with an Eli-friendly GM like Dave Gettleman instead of someone that wanted to blow the whole fucking thing up and draft a QB at 2. So in the end, it’s the Giants fans that wanted McAdoo gone and are already scouting out QBs in next years draft that are suffering, not the guy being paid to NOT coach the Giants.

I also don’t want to see everyone start white knighting for Ben McAdoo, who was clowned for pretty much everything he did as a coach while also having a full blown circus in the locker room simply because Eli Manning looks to be a walking corpse on the field this season. McAdoo also kept the Fake Pat Riley Haircut despite it being apparent from the jump that it was a terrible idea for the team’s mojo. I’ll never forgive him for that because his selfish decision cost me a bunch of Giants wins and countless Benny With The Good Hair t-shirt sales.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go back to watching Justin Herbert highlights because it’s the only thing that can get me out of this world of darkness outside of complex carbohydrates.
