Carmelo Anthony Apologizes To The Rockets For Making The Correct Play

Let me tell you something. I always hated when my teammates made the right decision. I mean pump fake, one dribble pull up? Yeah, what an asshole. That’s not how you’re supposed to play the game. Learn basketball for me on time, Carmelo.

Now, I know Carmelo is joking here. The Rockets preach analytics and either layups or threes. It’s all about getting the highest percentage shot vs the highest point possibility. Obviously because of that long 2s are taboo in Houston. Well, lucky for the Rockets, Carmelo specializes in long twos. So I hope he does this all the time. I hope Carmelo apologizes 12 times a game for taking a one dribble pull up jumper.

I still think the Carmelo signing will go a bit better than most people were screaming about. Part of that is just the fact that he’s playing with Chris Paul and having his buddy next to him means something. Now, if he’ll just stop making the correct play that would be greatly appreciated.
