The Time Has Come To Overreact To Erik Karlsson's First (Preseason) Goal As A San Jose Shark

Has there ever been a player to win the Norris Trophy, Art Ross, Rocket Richard, and Hart Trophy all in the same year? Because if not, Erik Karlsson is going to become the first to ever do it this year with the San Jose Sharks. We’re talking 50 and 50 here, boys. Maybe even 60 and 60 depending on how many powerplays they end up getting this season. Erik Karlsson is without a doubt going to have the most illustrious year that any defenseman in the history of the National Hockey League has ever had.
The instinct to keep drifting toward the net after passing the puck back up to Labanc on the blueline. The awareness to get his stick down on the ice in a high percentage goal scoring area right there. The touch and the precision to deflect that puck in the back of the net before anybody else could get a stick on it. That’s how it’s done right there, boys and girls. This is Erik Karlsson’s league and everybody else should just be thankful enough to be playing in it.
