Meanwhile….

Man. Kinda starting to feel bad for Dez.

Last week he sent out a Tweet begging the Pats or Redskins to sign him, and now look what happened today- The Redskins worked out Breshad Perriman, and Breshad Perriman SUCKSSSSS. The Ravens haven’t had a reliable WR since ‘Nam and they still cut Perriman. And then of course the Pats signed Josh Gordon who hasn’t played since 2003 and if he as much as smells an old tshirt that was in the basement of a house where weed was once smoked on the back porch, he gets high.

But Dez can’t even get a workout. Guy hasn’t left his couch in 6 weeks. Maybe that book isn’t for him, but he’s glanced at it. Day in and day out, he watches guys like Brian Quick get signed and his phone isn’t buzzing. Maybe that secret tape came out? Or maybe teams just don’t want a guy who can’t catch muddling up their locker room? Could be that. Probably definitely that.

So hey, good for Josh Gordon. I’ve always rooted for him because I hate to see someone that talented go to waste. Tom Brady should give him the guest bedroom, buy more smoke detectors for the house, and put a tracking device on him at all times. If Gordon fucks up in New England, it’s still very possible he gets an 11th chance somewhere else, but if he fails there, he will fail anywhere.
