Call Of Duty's New "Blackout Battle Royale" Trailer Is Here And It Is Pure MAYHEM
Welp. Here it is. We all knew it was coming, and it’s finally here. With the success of Fornite and its gamechangingly addictive Battle Royale mode, get ready for every game and their mother to come out with their own version of Battle Royale. It’s starts now with Call Of Duty and soon we’ll be seeing it in the Battlefield franchise and, of all places, Red Dead Redemption. Not necessarily saying it’s a bad thing, but it’s certainly different. Call Of Duty is fully grabbing their nuts and are getting rid of their campaign mode. Just saying fuck it and going full on multiplayer. I don’t hate it as the storylines haven’t had much gusto since the days of Soap, Russians laying nukes on American soil, and/or Ed Harris malevolently calling the shots, but it’s certainly a statement move.
However, this trailer is pure MAYHEM. Helicopters. Dingys. Zombies. TOY MONKEY BOMBS. Absolute chaos. I don’t know whether to love it or hate it. Let’s see how this one plays out. So, yeah, that’s where we’re at. If ya wanna check it out we’ll be streaming the Beta mode on Monday when it releases on Twitch. Oh, that’s right.
