Kick Off Labor Day With MTV True Life: I Have A Summer Share Featuring Tommy Cheeseballs

Part 1:

Episode starts at 4:07

Part 2:

Writer’s Note: With Labor Day here, I will be running my bi-annual Tommy Cheeseballs blog to close out the summer. I publish it on Memorial Day Friday and Labor Day Monday because while that chunk of time is known as “Summer” to some people, to me it’s #CheeseballsSZN. Nobody embodies the spirit of summer burning brightly and far too quickly better than Tommy Cheeseballs. So a blog devoted to his legendary summer “running” Seaside Heights, eating steak sangwiches, and melting down about his missing cheeseballs seems like the perfect bookend to those 14 glorious weeks between holidays. So sit back, relax, and watch an absolutely classic video chock full of unintentional comedy that will provide some easy laughs to everyone hung over from the weekend or God forbid are somehow stuck in a cubicle right now.

It may be more than a decade old, but the Tommy Cheeseballs episode of True Life is unintentional comedy at its peak that still holds up to this day. Pure fucking gold. Tommy isn’t the only star. Far from it. Before we had Snooki, J-Woww and Paulie D we had Anthony, Michelle H. and Michelle F, and the rest of Tommy’s misfit friends showing people around the country that never stepped foot in the Northeast just how RIDICULOUS the Jersey Shore could be (with some fantastic early 2000s music in the background and the stereotypical Cowboys garbage pail that I think every Italian Cowboys fan from New Jersey owned). I imagine older Stoolies will love this throwback while younger Stoolies will laugh as they watch the utter nonsense that is/was Tommy Cheeseballs. Every now and then we get a “Tommy Cheeseballs is dead” rumor that turns out to be false but even if they were true I would refuse to ever believe them. I even saw a “Tommy Cheeseballs is a Nazi” rumor on Twitter that I also refuse to believe. Instead I like to think Tommy is still working that construction job with a Mrs. Tommy at home taking care of a couple of little Tommys as they look forward

NOW HIT TOMMY’S MUSIC!!!

“You don’t appreciaaaaaate meeeeee!!!!!”
