Sometimes You Just Gotta Break Your Putter Over Your Knee

BOOM! Down goes the putter! Fuck that putter! John Peterson pulling the ol’ Bo Jackson/Carlos Zambrano move with his putter and snapping it over his knee. That had to to feel sooooooooooooo good. Imagine how good it would feel to snap your stupid fucking putter in half. The stupid thing brings you so much pain and agony on a regular basis that it deserves to be punished from time to time. I would do this all the time if I were a professional golfer. I’d make it my thing. The announcers would be waiting for it to happen. “Trent’s putter better hope it comes through here or it could be headed to metal scrap.” The only reason I don’t do it now is because I don’t wanna pay for a new putter every time. I’m broke as it is so I can’t be paying for a new putter every time I get mad on the golf course. Pro golfers can just get a new one no problem. Peterson did have to putt with a wedge for the remainder of his round but who gives a shit. He taught that putter a lesson and that’s what matters.
