Isaiah Thomas Calls Cleveland A "Shithole"

Isaiah Thomas appears to be enjoying his last bits of summer before NBA teams head to camp in preparation for the 2018-19 regular season. He hopped on the ol’ Instagram Live machine to discuss all the cities he’s played in with the type of candor we’ve come to expect from IT. No real surprises in what he said: Sacramento, the team that gave him a shot is forever good in his heart; LA was cool for a brief visit; Boston gave him his highest of highs; and Phoenix was fine until it wasn’t. But Isaiah, what about Cleveland?

“Oh yeah, and Cleveland? Big time runny dump of a city, organization, crew, and record label. P U. Shithole City, Ohio. No wonder LeBron keeps leaving this dank, urine-soaked, hell-hole in his rearview. It’s bad and it stinks.”

Tough not to love Isaiah’s honesty and transparency here. Unless, I suppose, you’re from Cleveland. Then I could see you very much not loving his honesty nor transparency here. Man has his head in the clouds and he’s letting people know how he feels. Something tells me in a few years, he’ll have nothing but glowing things to say about Denver.
