MSN- A 25-year-old British man racked up a stunning $45,000 worth of tickets in just three hours behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracanin Dubai last week, according to a a British tabloid—and now the man and the rental car company are in the midst of a standoff over who should pay the fines. According to The Sun, the unnamed British tourist spent the same length of time as that tour Gilligan and the Skipper had been planning blasting along desert highways like the Sheikh Zayed Road in the rented Lamborghini at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour early one recent morning—a joyride that, unsurprisingly, caught the attention of the all-seeing eyes of speed cameras lining the route. In fact, those cameras managed to capture the Huracan flaying the speed limit no fewer than 33 times over that three-hour span, leading to the eye-watering amalgamation of fines.

Awesome story but it’s yet another reminder that speed cameras are the devil. That’s how this fella got slammed with 45 grand in tickets. Not because there was an actual cop sitting in a cruiser who popped him for speeding. No no no. It was those stupid robots with eyes who told on him like the little snitch bitches they are. I guess I just don’t understand how speed cameras are legal. Like this guy wasn’t hurting anybody and didn’t end up hurting anybody. Nobody was around, he saw a beautiful stretch of road, he happened to be sitting in a Lamborghini and he took advantage of it. What’s so wrong with that? Nothing, I say. There’s nothing wrong with that. We wouldn’t have known anything about him going 150 MPH and the world would’ve just kept on spinning.

Going fast in a fast car is as American as apple pie. No the story didn’t happen in America but it translates to the rest of the world. There are so few moments in a person’s life where they feel truly free. Speeding down a road in a fast car is one of those moments and to have it ruined by a stupid speed camera makes me wanna puke on my computer. I don’t know how the people who are pro-speed cameras sleep at night. That’s anti-fun blood money and they should feel bad for taking that guy’s $45,000.
