Seth Rogen Tweeted A Bunch Of Cool Facts About 'Pineapple 'Express' On The Movie's 10th Anniversary

Holy shit 10 years?!?!?! God damn does time fly. Wild that Pineapple Express came out a decade ago. I was a heavy marijuana user when the movie came out so it was right up my alley. I was 19 years old and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and loved smoking weed so seeing a movie about slacking stoner was just what the doctor ordered. I even remember the trailer dropping. It was the scene where Dale goes to Saul’s apartment to buy weed and I was HYPED. When Franco said the weed smells like God’s vagina I knew it was gonna be great. It helped that Rogen was coming off a run of movies that included 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Superbad.

I really love when actors/directors/writers do a Fun Facts tweet thread about a movie you love. Tons of good stuff in Rogen’s tweets about Pineapple Express. The tweet about how Rogen and James Franco switched roles cause Franco wanted to and Rogen didn’t care was my favorite. It’d be a much different movie if they hadn’t switched roles. Or the one about the dick drawings which made my head hurt. I could listen to/read tweets of Rogen talking about Pineapple Express all day long.

Also, Danny McBride really does kinda steal the entire movie

PS- Not to brag but back in 2008 I took a girl to Pineapple Express on our first date (smooth, Trent, smooth) and we ended up a dating for a substantial amount of time and now we dislike each other. So that’s another fun fact about Pineapple Express.
