Musician Knocks Butts Outta Seats With Hendrix At Senior Living Home

I stumbled across this video via Tweet today. For reasons I can’t quite explain I can’t stop watching it either & it made my day. If you’re short on time I broke down the key moments below:

In the last few seconds as people come over to help the woman, Greg continues to shred Hendrix & you can see him cheesing on his makeshift stage. Unsure if this whole thing was a truly genuine moment or just a funny idea he had, I reached out with a few questions & he got back to me right away:

Hi! That was my debut performance. They do want me back next month. How I started performing there was I was messing around on a piano in the lobby, and a resident suggested I officially perform there. I can’t say no to anything, so I talked to the activities director and there we go.

The resident was perfectly fine. When the song was over, I did make sure of that. Luckily she fell into bushes and grass and not cement.
