A Hero Walks Among Us In The Streets Of Philadelphia

We live in a world of constant protest. It can be overbearing at times. I mean there are plenty of protests which are obviously justified. Others, however? Well… not so much. It just seems like any time any person has an issue with anything at all, it’s an immediate protest. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t be able to voice their opinions or anything. I’m just saying that maybe sometimes it would be a little better for people to just shut up until we find out if an actual injustice has been served or if it was just a slight inconvenience at most. If you protest everything, you’re really protesting nothing. Ya know what I’m saying?

But as far as injustices in this great nation of ours go, there is no bigger culprit than those rat bastards over at Xfinity. And I just couldn’t be happier that one man has taken it upon himself to let the people know that enough is enough already. Xfinity is bullshit and it’s time for our voices to be heard. It’s a shame that it’s taken a man who looks like he’s at least pushing 80 to be the voice of a nation, but not all heroes wear orthopedic shoes. And this isn’t just some one time affair for this geezer. He’s not some social justice warrior who goes outside with a sign for an hour and acts like they just saved the world. No no no. This man sees it as his duty to call Xfinity out for being bullshit and his job isn’t over until Xfinity is bullshit no more. And considering I still pay $140 per month for a cable package that doesn’t even include the channel to watch Bar Rescue, it looks like we’ve still got a ways to go. But you can count on just 3 things in this life–death, taxes, and this old dude walking around Philadelphia with his “Xfinity is Bullshit” sign.

Here he was back in January.

Here he was last month.

Here he was a few hours later in the day yesterday.

If I’m Mayor Kenny right now, I think I’m starting to get worried. Everybody hates you for the soda tax. Everybody hates you for pissing off Jay-Z with the whole “Made In America” debacle this week. Everybody hates you for a multitude of reasons. And here comes this dude out of nowhere, speaking everybody’s language and getting down to the issues that really matter in this world. Suck a fat one, Comcast. Old Man Murphy has your ass firmly in the jackpot now.
