Arizona Congressman Gets Pulled Over For Going 97 MPH in a 55, But Then Brags He Usually Goes 120+ As He Gets Off Scot-Free For Having Government Immunity

The Drive

Local news agency Parker Live recently obtained information on a police traffic stop involving Arizona 5th district representative Paul Mosley. Around 4:30 p.m., March 27, Mosley’s Lexus LS400 was pulled over by a La Paz County Sheriff’s Deputy after allegedly weaving through traffic and driving 97 mph in a 55 mph zone.

According to the deputy’s police report, Mosley began waving his government identification outside the car, and pleaded with the officer to be let off the hook. “I explained the reason for the stop to Mosley and asked if there was any reason he was traveling so fast. I informed Mosley that 97 mph in a 55 mph zone is considered criminal speed. Mosley stated he was just in a hurry to get home to surprise his family in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Mosley also told me that I should just let him go and that I shouldn’t waste anymore of my time dealing with him due to his immunity as a government official.”

COCKY!! We’ve been talking a lot lately about someone having big dick energy. Well, this guy screams having it. To be going 97 in a 55 is pretty much a jail worthy offense in the eyes of the law. I have a buddy who did something like that in a construction zone and he was put in hand cuffs for a few minutes because it was that serious. This guy pretty much laughed it off. I’ve never seen someone body a cop like that. My dad was an asshole all the time, but when he got pulled over (and that happened a lot) he instantly became this giant suck-up and kiss ass. Witnessing it as a young kid I couldn’t believe it, but I soon learned you don’t fuck around with cops. This guy, on the other hand, immediately showed his government placard that says he’s a congressman and told the cop to not even bother because he would just having the ticket thrown out with the immunity that comes with his job. To have the fucking balls to say that to a cop is outrageous. Usually you’re supposed to be sly when showing cops you have a PBA card that shows you donate to the local police or that you are a very important person like Mosely is. Nope, not this guy. He gets right to the point because he’s got to get the hell home and continue going full-Paul Walker down the highway.

As the cop is about to walk away the man then starts bragging about how his Lexus was going 120 to 140 mph earlier and displays this shit eating grin that makes you want to fight him. He knows he can literally do whatever he wants and this Arizona cop can’t touch him. In the state of Arizona there is this law that lets members of legislature essentially get away with everything short of murder or treason.

Section 6. Members of the legislature shall be privileged from arrest in all cases except treason, felony, and breach of the peace, and they shall not be subject to any civil process during the session of the legislature, nor for fifteen days next before the commencement of each session.

The biggest loser out of this situation was easily the cop. He now has this video going viral and everyone he works with knows he’s the guy who got bullied by a congressman. That’s a tough look.

I love how Mosley says maybe he should drive his other car, which is a Prius, because it’s impossible for that top speed to reach 120 mph, as if it’s the cars fault he’s going so fast. Congressman Mosley has to drive his car at top speed and won’t settle for anything else. What a monster.
