Croatian Firefighters Miss Game-Winning Penalty Kick Against Russia When The Firehouse Siren Goes Off

Awesome video. How cool are firefighters? The coolest man. Hanging out watching a huge soccer game in the firehouse and then at the drop of a hat (or the sound of a siren) they’re up and outta there. It took’em about 9 seconds to go from sitting and watching the game to out the door. Impressive to say the least. It’s obviously their job but I still don’t think I would’ve gotten up under those circumstances. That mostly just means I’m a bad person and would be a really terrible firefighter but it was penalty kicks! For a trip to the World Cup semifinals! That’s a huge moment. I’d just hope the people who started the fire had some baking soda or something.

By the way, I get that fires can happen any time anywhere but come on, people of Croatia. At least wait until the game is over to start a fire. Maybe somebody left their stove on but I’d be willing to bet that fire was World Cup related. That’s a I’m So Mad And So Stressed Out That This Game Is Going To Penalty Kicks That’s I’m Gonna Start A Fire fire if I’ve ever seen one.That’s a dick move. Those firefighters were fully invested in the game. They’d sat through 120 minutes of futbol and then didn’t get the payoff when it came to PKs. Messed up.
