50 Cent And The Game Were Spotted Talking At A Club Over The Weekend

HNHH- Hate it or love it, the underdogs may very well be on top once again. The watchful eye of DJ Akademiks has shared footage of a reunion between 50 Cent and The Game. The former G-Unit allies turned bitter enemies can be seen chopping it up at a club, leaving many to wonder if the longstanding animosity has indeed faded entirely, giving way to bigger and better things. In all fairness, such an amicable conclusion seemed unlikely, despite moments of tenuous peace; the pair previously rekindled in 2016, but the good vibes didn’t last long, after Game called 50 a “zombie” last year. Though 50 has occasionally buried hatchets, the man seems perfectly fine with harboring unresolved grudges; case in point, 50 Cent coldly referenced iconic Rocky quote “if he dies he dies” while longtime rival Rick Ross was rumored to be on life support. Still, Fif is one of hip-hop’s sharpest entrepreneurial minds, and there’s no doubt he would turn his back on a potential opportunity.

That video is of great importance to me. It is likely not of great importance to anyone else. I’m aware of that. The beef between 50 Cent and The Game has been going for a decade-plus so I’d imagine there aren’t too many people out there who are still interested in it. But for those people who are still interested (myself very much included) these two talking at a club is newsworthy. I didn’t just watch the 50 Cent/Game beef back when it started up. I thought I was involved. I LOVED The Game’s music but I swore him off completely for a few years out of loyalty to Curtis Jackson. I used to wear G-Unit shirts. I thought I was the 4th member of the group (Sorry Yayo). I was ready to go to war for 50 Cent against The Game.

And now they’re at the club laughing it up like old pals. Very curious. Honestly the beef between these two has been going on for so long I’d be willing to bet they forget they’re beefing sometimes. Like if someone at that club had leaned over and been like, “Don’t you two hate each other?” they probably would’ve started throwing punches. That’s how it goes. Right now it feels like the two of them might make a song together. Tomorrow they very well could be throwing not-so-subliminal jabs at each other. It just keeps going. I like it that way. I never want it to end. I hope I’m laying on my death bed getting updates about the beef between 50 Cent and The Game.

Still such a good song.
