Phil is out here apologizing like he got blackout drunk, punched his best friend and pissed in a trash can. Never apologize, Phil. Never. Never ever. I’m so disappointed in Phil for apologizing. Especially for something that shouldn’t need an apology at all. So Phil broke golf etiquette and then didn’t apologize for his actions afterwards. Who cares? Who actually cares? It made me like Phill that much more. I guess it’s not shocking that he apologized. I just wish he hadn’t. Because now all the old and stuffy and crusty media members think they were right. They’re feeling justified this morning. They’re clutching their children a little less tight this morning cause they don’t have to explain to them why Big Bad Phil didn’t apologize for breaking a rule. It makes me sick. Riggs said it best about the USGA when the players were complaining about the course set up. The only mistake the USGA made was apologizing for their actions. Phil’s only mistake in this whole thing was apologizing for his actions. Who gives a shit? People need to relax. I hate that those sanctimonious media fuckers are smiling this morning.
