Please Do Not Leave Your Alligators At Your Neighborhood Wawa

FoxNews Police are hunting Tuesday for two people who dumped a three-foot alligator at a Florida Wawa.

Officials received a call around 2:24 a.m. Friday about a gator at the convenience store in in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton Herald reported. Fish and Wildlife Commission sent a trapper who captured the reptile about an hour later. The alligator was injured when authorities took it in. Who dropped gator there, and their motive, still remains unclear days after the incident.

Guys. I mean… c’mon. There are very few rules at Wawa that you actually have to follow. Especially if you’re at the Wawa in Sea Isle anytime between the hours of 11pm and 3am. In that situation, it is very much a lawless war zone. But even then, you one hundred percent cannot take your alligator to your nearest Wawa and just leave it there as if Wawa is running some sort of gator daycare operation. During Hoagiefest no less!!

And here’s the thing. I’m sure that there’s not any actual law written in the Wawa Rulebook that explicitly states that you are not allowed to leave your gator at one of their stores. But it’s just implied. Really what it comes down to is common courtesy. Think about all the other millions and billions and trillions of people who frequent that Wawa. They’re walking into America’s #1 convenience store and they’re probably looking to grab a Sizzli and a coffee before they head to work. Maybe they’re trying to watch their figure now that it’s beach season and they’re getting the turkey sausage, egg white and cheese Sizzli because it’s a healthier alternative to the regular BEC. So they walk on into the Wawa thinking the worst thing they’re going to encounter is some asshole they met once a few years ago who now feels the urge to stop you and have a full fledged conversation every time you guys cross paths since. But instead, he basically walks onto the set of Swamp People first thing in the morning and has a gator staring him dead in the eyes. All because a couple of assholes decided they didn’t want to raise their alligator anymore. Seems pretty selfish to me.

I guess Florida just ain’t ready for Wawa yet.
