Bryson DeChambeau Was Asked If There Was Any Part Of Him That Wanted Tiger Woods To Make A Charge Yesterday

What a bizarre question. That reporter basically asked, “Hey Bryson, was there any part of you that wanted the greatest golfer of all time to make a charge, make you shit your pants and potentially steal the tournament out from under you? Is that a thing you wanted to have happen?” Of course the answer is no! I’ve had my beefs with DeChambeau in the past but no one in their right mind answers that question with, “Hell yeah I did. Bring it on. I’m a competitor. I wanna be the best.I wanna beat the best. Bring it, Eldrick.” You avoid that answer at all costs. The tournament was stressful enough for DeChambeau without Tiger.

I feel like fans are the only ones who really want Tiger involved in a tournament. Or at least in contention at a tournament. Other golfers definitely want Tiger around and playing cause he increases interest in the sport. But do they want him breathing down their necks down the stretch? Helllllllllll no. Hell no. That’s the last thing they want. Bryson just cleared a check for 1.6 million dollars and didn’t have to deal with Tiger Woods. That seems ideal.
