Ian Rapoport is Called a Liar By Linebacker Mychal Kendricks For Breaking His Signing With the Browns, Even Though Rap Was 100% Right the Entire Time

This whole shit storm started yesterday when our pal Ian Rapoport scooped up a story that free agent linebacker Mychal Kendricks was signing with the Cleveland Browns. No big deal, just the best NFL insider out there doing his thing, beating Shefty and the rest as per usual.

Well, Mychal Kendricks did not take Ian Rapoport doing his job lightly.

Alright buddy, calling Rap Sheet a bleep is just plain rude. Doing it multiple times is uncalled for. Maybe you didn’t want your deal breaking early like that, fine, but there is no need for those words on a lazy Sunday.For Kendricks to go on a tirade like that you would assume Rap had gotten the wrong information and shot his load too soon. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player call out an insider like that, especially with a direct tweet response to the report.

Chris Tomasson is a Vikings/NFL reporter for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Kendricks had been linked to the Vikings to somehow bolster their ridiculous defense even further, so Tomasson tried to to see what was up with the reported signing. Kendricks was not having it.

Just the classic hang up when you don’t want to talk to someone trick. I liked to do this when my mom called me at college asking why my bank account was so low following the weekend. It’s true, you don’t have to talk to someone and giveaway information when you just hang up the phone. If you’re Tomasson you have to call back and hit ‘em with the Michael Scott voice changer at the very least.

Welp, the story was 100% accurate and Rap Sheet was nails as always. Mychal Kendricks called Ian a liar for basically doing his job. He seems like a real swell guy huh?
