Clay Matthews Breaks His Nose in a Charity Softball Game After Getting a Scary Comebacker To The Face

Jesus Christ. Here I am trying to enjoy my lazy Saturday and we’ve got Clay Matthews shattering his nose playing charity softball of all things. One moment you’re just enjoying yourself with the boys and hitting some bombs and the next you’re in the ER. I do want to give credit to Clay for getting up almost immediately after getting drilled. If that’s Ronaldo or LeBron out there they’re on the ground for an easy five minutes. Not Clay. That’s football tough folks. You can’t teach that.

The belief for now, according to Rap, is that it’s just a broken nose which is good news for sure. Sure it’s just a softball, but with that thing rocketing at your face who knows what kind of damage it could have caused?

It’s June 2nd and Packers players are already hurt. What a great sign for the upcoming season! I’m sure this will be the last of injuries, no doubt about it.
