The Yale Bulldogs Are Your 2018 National Champions Of College Lacrosse
So I’m currently writing this blog from the field at Gillette Stadium (not a big deal or anything, just being a credentialed journalist and shit like that) so I’m gonna have to keep this one short. I’ll have more on the game and a recap of the whole weekend either later tonight or early tomorrow. Just had to get something up real quick to congratulate the Yale Bulldogs on winning their first ever DI Men’s Lacrosse Championship. This team was a goddamn force all year long and they’ve bullied their way to the top and capped it all off with a win on Memorial Day. It was an unreal game today from both sides but when all was said and done, Yale’s offense was just too stacked and their defense was too big, too strong, too Ivy League tough.
For now, here’s a quick look at the post-game scene.
Like I said. I’ll have more either tonight or tomorrow. But shoutout to Yale for an unbelievable season, and thus concludes another year of college lacrosse. Another great one down in the books. Tough to see it go but if the season had to end at some point, it picked a great ass game to close out with.
