According To LeBron, Nikola Jokic Is The Most Dominant And Complete Player He's Ever Played Against

As the years go by, one thing that has become abundantly clear is that when it comes to the topic of Nikola Jokic, there are two ends of the spectrum. You have one side that will forever be weird when it comes to discussing Jokic both as a current player and where he may or may not end up all time when he finally hangs up his sneakers and goes to hang out with his horses full time. The loudest are usually from the opposing fanbases that keep seeing their favorite player lose out on MVPs because they just so happened to be going up against a complete statistical giant. Unfortunately for them, they let their own fandom blind them from seeing something truly special.

On the other end of the spectrum are most Nuggets fans and some in the media out there who take things a tad too far the other way.

Personally, I find myself somewhere in the middle. I have been pretty vocal on this very blog when it comes to Jokic and how I believe he's already had 2 MVPs stolen from him during this current run. If there's one thing I cannot stand it's voter fatigue, and it's obvious that very thing has robbed Jokic twice. I am of the belief that he's without a doubt the current best player in the world, and once again, he should be the odds-on favorite for another MVP. I am someone who very much appreciates and acknowledges Jokic's greatness. Am I ready to say he's the best player in the history of the sport? Not exactly.

But what do I know? At the end of the day, I'm just a moron blogger. But what about the opinion of say, LeBron James?

If you are someone who believes the Jokic glazing gets to be a bit much at times, I can understand that. At the same time, I agree with pretty much everything LeBron said. Again, Jokic is insane

And given the fact that LeBron has played nearly 2,000 career games (including playoffs) which spans two decades, I'd say he's faced every type of player imaginable. From the best of the best to the worst of the worst, it's hard to argue with LeBron's credentials when it comes to this topic. If he says Jokic is the most dominant and complete offensive player he's ever seen, who am I to call him a liar?

When it comes to all this stuff about player debates and rankings etc, the only thing you really need to do is listen to actual players. Listen to how their peers talk about them. It's no surprise you see guys being stamped by fellow players but torn down by media/fans, because narratives and NBA Twitter are a motherfucker. What's crazy is how much pushback LeBron is currently getting for that comment if you look at the responses, which sort of proves my point. Nothing he said was all that outrageous to anyone who can watch Jokic without a weird bias.

Now of course, there will always be haters in professional sports, so I'm sure there are some stoolies reading this blog that would very much not agree with LeBron. That's fine, we don't all have to agree on everything. But I will say one thing I do think we can all agree on is that knocking out all your holiday shopping AND saving 20% feels fantastic.

Lucky for you, it's very easy to experience that exact feeling all from the comfort of your own home because as I type this blog, everything in the Barstool Store is currently 20% for Black Friday. Crazy I know, but it's true!
