Rice Football Breaking Out Free Beer For Its Students Against North Texas Is An Awesome Move And Easily The Promo Of The Year

We have a sneaky massive game in the American this week. North Texas going to Rice with just a couple games left. It matters because North Texas is trying to get into the American Title game, Rice needs a win to be bowl eligible. We've also seen the college football playoff committee basically screw James Madison and say the winner of the American is getting in. That can change if teams keep losing though - you got Tulane (24th), North Texas, ECU and Navy all with 1 loss in the AAC. 

So fast forward to Saturday and look at what we have here. Rice giving away free beer to its students. That's an incredible promo, promo of the year even. You know what people love? Free shit. You know what college kids love even more? Free beer. You get to watch a game and drink beer? They should sellout, every kid who is 21 or older needs to be there from start to finish. It's not even just free beer too, they have more: 

Ice cream and a free thing of food? Yeah, that's a college kid's dream during an event like this. The Nest is an incredible name for the area/field too. You gotta get The Nest rocking for this game, make it loud as shit and let's get James Madison into the discussion. It's time to get James Madison in the rankings and give me them vs the AAC winner for a play-in game. Why not? We can expand everything else, give us that. 

I want to see one of the big time teams do this. Give me Alabama/LSU, in Baton Rouge at night, every 21 year old student gets free beer. That's the only way to make that place even louder, well as long as LSU is good too. Either way shout out Rice. Promo of the Year.
