Get The Team Ready: Pitt's Coach Pat Narduzzi Doesn't Think The Notre Dame Game Is Must-Win, Would 'Gladly Get Beat 103-10, Because It's Not An ACC Game'
Hell yeah. This is how you get the team ready with a massive game coming. Now, I completely get what he's trying to say. Pitt needs to win the ACC in order to make the playoffs. They aren't getting an at-large bid. In fact if there are 2 ACC teams in the playoffs, we should riot. That league stinks out loud this year. But, you still have a chance for a notable win over Notre Dame. You can still end Notre Dame's season with a win. That should be something worth going for, especially since Notre Dame is a playoff team right now.
There's only one outcome that needs to happen now. Notre Dame needs to win 103-10. I don't want anything less. I want to see Pat Narduzzi and Pitt's response if this happens. I guess I should mention that GameDay is going there too, so for the 12 people that can watch the game because ESPN is fucking us, not exactly the best outcome for a team hosting here. I actually think if you lose 103-10 and win your conference you still shouldn't be allowed in the playoffs.
I had to search this multiple times just to make sure it was real. I thought seeing the quote was fake or I was getting Centel'd. Then I saw the video and got scared it was AI. But I see every person talking about this comment, that's how outrageous it is. I don't know how you say this out loud as a coach for a major program. We're not talking about a no-name either, there was a time where Pitt was damn good. Not to mention they have some of the best uniforms in the game. Can't be saying you don't care if you lose 103-10. Can't add another 7 to it too. At least go under 100. I don't care if it's a reference to the score of the last 2 games these teams played. You gotta say a different number or anything else if you're going to try and throw jokes about the ACC not getting respect by the committee.
Either way, the boys have to be ready after hearing this game doesn't matter.
